Yannick Langlois

Yannick Langlois has followed an exceptional career path. Initially trained in business administration, he first embarked on a successful entrepreneurial venture in the coffee distribution industry. His determination and resourcefulness have made him a remarkable example of perseverance.

For Yannick, what has truly defined his journey is the importance he places on human relationships. He has served as a Director on the boards of several local organizations. Drawing on these hands-on experiences, he chose to expand his commitment to public service through municipal politics.

Elected City Councillor for the L’Orée-des-Bois district, the neighbourhood where his family resides, Yannick Langlois now oversees the public finance portfolio. As an Associate Member of Laval’s Executive Committee, he continues to advance the vision established by the Mouvement lavallois in 2013: providing Laval residents with an administration that is ethical, competent, and efficient, while placing citizen engagement and the public interest at the centre of its decision-making.

Yannick dedicates his determination and commitment to serving the residents of L’Orée-des-Bois, with the goal of enhancing the quality of life in his community. He strongly supports continued investment in public transit, sports and cultural facilities, as well as policies aimed at protecting and developing green spaces, including shorelines, wooded areas, and parks. He has also played an active role in implementing the Social Development Policy Action Plan, which seeks to ensure that all Laval residents, regardless of age or circumstances, have the opportunity to thrive in their city.
