Yannick Langlois’ career is nothing short of exceptional. Initially trained in administration, he then embarked on a successful entrepreneurial venture in coffee distribution. His tenacity and resourcefulness have made him a remarkable example of perseverance. For Yannick, the essence of his career is the value he places on human relations.

A true believer in serving others and driven by a desire to do his part, Yannick entered the political race in his district of L’Orée-des-Bois. As a former director of numerous organizations, including Laval-Ouest’s citizens’ committee, Laval-Ouest’s youth centre, the Maison de la famille, the Société Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and Festivités de l’Ouest, he wanted to extend his commitment to politics.

When he joined the Mouvement lavallois – Équipe Marc Demers in 2017, his goal was to contribute to restoring a sense of pride among Laval residents by promoting ethical principles such as integrity and honesty. He is pursuing the vision initiated in 2013 by the ML, aimed at providing Laval residents with an administration that is honest, competent and efficient, and that places citizens and their collective interests at the heart of its decisions.

Yannick puts his determination and commitment at the service of the citizens of L’Orée-des-Bois to improve the quality of life in his community. He strongly supports continued investment in public transit, sports and cultural infrastructure, as well as the preservation and development of green spaces, including riverbanks, woodlands and parks. He has also actively participated in the implementation of the social development policy action plan to enable all Laval residents, regardless of their age or situation, to achieve their full potential in their city.
