Aline Dib

Aline is known for her human qualities, and her keen interest in volunteering for the Laval community shows her commitment as an activist for the rights of children and young people. A former director of a preschool centre, she is passionate about helping young people develop through knowledge. Aline, who holds a bachelor’s degree in education from UQÀM and a university diploma in human resources management, fosters harmonious interpersonal relations based on motivation and openness to others.

A woman of conviction, Aline vigorously defends her ideas. In addition to her role as the councillor for the Saint-Martin district, she is actively involved with the Saint-Joseph parish, community organizations such as St Vincent de Paul, the Club d’âge d’or and the Scouts, which demonstrate her great ability to support causes and take on decision-making responsibilities.

Since her election in 2013, Aline has shone in multiple areas of activity, looking after the interests of the citizens of her district and the city. Her participation in various bodies, including as a member of the Board of Directors of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM), the Board of Directors of the Société de Transport de Laval (STL), and the Commission de la gouvernance de la Ville de Laval, gives her a global perspective on Laval’s development. She actively contributes to key sectors, as shown by her involvement in cultural and youth matters. At the provincial level, she represents Laval on the board of directors of the Union des municipalités du Québec.

Aline aspires to continue her work in the political arena and is seeking to consolidate recent achievements to make Laval an environment that is conducive to the development and fulfillment of children, families or seniors. Her deep commitment is rooted in her desire for Laval to support its citizens at every stage of their lives.
