United in Thought and Wholeheartedly Behind Stéphane Boyer

Laval, October 6 – Stéphane Boyer, Mayor of Laval and Leader of Mouvement lavallois, will soon undergo surgery to remove a brain tumour. This procedure will require him to take a temporary leave from his duties so that he can fully focus on his recovery and rehabilitation. Ray Khalil, City Councillor for Sainte-Dorothée and Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee, will assume the responsibilities of Acting Mayor until Stéphane Boyer returns. Together with the municipal administration and elected officials, he will ensure the continuity of services to residents, as well as the advancement of Laval’s priority files.
