Carole St-Denis

  • City Councillor for Champfleury

Carole St-Denis is a communications professional and a graduate of Algonquin College. She also holds a certificate in Leadership and Management Skills from the Montréal Leadership Institute.

From 2020 to 2025, she served as Executive Director of the Table régionale de concertation des aînés de Laval (TRCAL), a network of nearly 60 organizations. In this role, she effectively brought forward the issues affecting Laval’s seniors to various levels of government and contributed to actions and decision-making aimed at enhancing the well-being of the population. Drawing on a career spanning nearly 20 years in radio and television broadcasting, she also worked in business development and major account management for a Laval-based company. With extensive experience in collaboration and stakeholder mobilization, she champions a solution-oriented approach to teamwork. Known for her inclusive leadership style and strong listening skills, Carole stands out for her rigour, integrity, professionalism, and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A dynamic and committed community leader, her curiosity and drive for excellence have also led her to undertake pilot training, complete an internship in international politics in Bolivia, and leave a lasting mark on numerous Laval organizations through her volunteer involvement. These include the Laval-Nord Sports Association, serving as Chair of the Civilian Committee of the 2649 Salaberry Cadet Corps, Chair of the Governing Board of Villemaire School in Sainte-Rose, and leading the implementation of the École Réflexe Aîné program at Équinoxe Elementary School—the first initiative of its kind in Laval—where she serves as a parent representative.

Having lived in Laval for more than 20 years, Carole has developed a strong sense of belonging to both her neighbourhood and her city. She hopes to continue listening actively to residents and to put her skills and experience to work for the people of Laval, particularly those living in the Champfleury district.
