Cecilia Macedo

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Université de Montréal and having completed MBA-level studies at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, Cecilia Macedo brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of humanitarian work and international development. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian, she has contributed to the Laurentides Social Economy Hub over the past several years.
Cecilia demonstrates natural leadership and a strong commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. She is actively involved with the Centre des femmes de Laval and played a key role in the creation of the Conseil des Lavalloises, of which she is a founding member. In addition, Cecilia Macedo served as a volunteer ambassador for the David Suzuki Foundation for more than ten years.
