Jocelyne Frédéric-Gauthier’s dedication and diverse background reflect a deep commitment.

Originally from Haiti, she came to Quebec to pursue university studies, earning a bachelor’s degree covering a wide range of fields such as municipal service management, social sciences, immigration and interethnic relations.

Thanks to her academic background, Jocelyne has built a solid career in public administration, including with Quebec’s Ministère de l’Immigration. She has successfully met a variety of professional challenges working with a diverse clientele of foreign students, refugees, permanent residents and temporary workers.

In addition to her work, Jocelyne is actively involved in causes close to her heart, particularly those related to seniors. She sits on the Board of Directors of Les habitations Le Pélican, where she organizes numerous social and cultural activities.

Ms. Frédéric-Gauthier’s commitment leads her to offer her services to her fellow citizens of Auteuil. As a city councillor, she aspires to be a determined representative who is particularly sensitive to the issues facing their community. Since November 2013, she has been Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Société de Transport de Laval (STL), a member of the Agricultural Advisory Committee, and represents the City of Laval in the Regroupement lavallois pour la réussite éducative (RLPRE). Ms. Frédéric-Gauthier is also responsible for immigration and cultural communities, demonstrating her commitment and ability to take on varied responsibilities in the service of her fellow citizens.
