Although most of these tumors are benign, consultations with specialists will help determine what comes next and the most appropriate next steps.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>In order to preserve his energy and spend more time with his family and loved ones, St\u00e9phane will reduce his participation in certain public activities over the coming weeks. He nevertheless wanted to reassure residents that he will continue to fully carry out his duties as Mayor of Laval and Chair of the Executive Committee, supported by a dedicated and committed team.<\/p>\n<p>This news is a reminder that, beyond the responsibilities he carries, St\u00e9phane is first and foremost a deeply caring individual with a strong attachment to Laval. Since entering municipal politics in 2013, he has devoted his energy to advancing our city, guided by the desire to provide current and future generations with a community that reflects their aspirations.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSome news affects us more deeply than others.
