Responsible for the economic development, urban planning, and environment portfolios, she has notably championed efforts to reduce permit issuance delays since her election.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She is particularly proud of the achievements and major transformations in her district, including the continued enhancement of the city&#8217;s gateway through the conversion of a parking lot into a welcoming family-friendly park (Parc Dufresne); the redevelopment of the former Commodore Marina site into a publicly accessible waterfront space; and traffic-calming measures through reduced speed limits and the installation of speed humps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Holding diplomas in Nursing and Literature, Christine has also distinguished herself as the founder of Momzelle, an award-winning company specializing in nursing apparel. Her entrepreneurial journey has earned her prestigious recognition, including being named \u201cBusinesswoman of the Year\u201d by the R\u00e9seau des Femmes d&#8217;affaires du Qu\u00e9bec (RFAQ), as well as securing an investment on the television program Dragon&#8217;s Den.
