As the founder of Momzelle, a company specializing in nursing garments, she enjoyed resounding success, garnering several notable distinctions, including the title of \u201cBusinesswoman of the Year\u201d awarded by the R\u00e9seau des femmes d\u2019affaires du Qu\u00e9bec, the \u201cBest Young Entrepreneur\u201d award from Mouvement Desjardins, and recognition as one of <i>Elle Qu\u00e9bec<\/i>\u2019s \u201cWomen of the Year.\u201d She also succeeded in convincing an investor from the popular CBC show <i>Dragon\u2019s Den<\/i> to place his trust in her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">More recently, Christine has been bitten by the political bug: In addition to running in the federal election, she was Director of Operations for the Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) in Quebec. In this capacity, she was in charge of developing the party\u2019s electoral strategy for Quebec\u2019s 78 electoral divisions under the leadership of the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada. She also acted as a liaison between the MPs\u2019 caucus and the party\u2019s Quebec members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A resident of Duvernay\u2013Pont-Viau, a mother of two young daughters and fluent in both French and English, Christine Poirier is committed to the Mouvement lavallois to contribute to Laval\u2019s modernization.
