A lifelong resident of Laval, Ray Khalil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology from Trois-Rivi\u00e8res. Driven by his passion for human relations, he left the laboratory environment to immerse himself in the restaurant industry at the age of 21. A seasoned entrepreneur, Ray puts his initiative and leadership skills to work in support of social causes, including blood drives and cultural and community projects. He also shares his passion for entrepreneurship and the restaurant industry by mentoring young people entering the business world. With great dedication, he works to restore pride in being a Lavallois by helping build a municipal administration that is ethical, honest, transparent, and responsive to its residents.<\/p>\n
As City Councillor for Sainte-Doroth\u00e9e and Deputy Mayor, Ray dedicates his energy to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him by the Mayor and the Executive Committee, of which he serves as Vice-Chair. As Chair of the Agricultural Advisory Committee, he actively contributes to the Agricultural Zone Development Policy while also serving on the Urban Planning Advisory Committee. He also holds responsibilities within the Communaut\u00e9 m\u00e9tropolitaine de Montr\u00e9al (CMM), where he serves as a member of the Agricultural Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n
Ray is actively involved in the Sainte-Doroth\u00e9e district on a daily basis. In addition to maintaining a close connection with residents, he has played an important role in implementing the agricultural development plan, revitalizing the Sainte-Doroth\u00e9e Community Centre, and abolishing the alternate-side parking system as it previously existed.
