Alexandre Warnet holds a master\u2019s degree in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He also holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Communications, Politics and Society and a certificate in history from UQ\u00c0M. He is currently pursuing a graduate program in municipal administration at the \u00c9cole nationale d\u2019administration publique. In addition to his academic career, he is an entrepreneur, author, broadcaster and speaker.<\/p>\n
A native of Laval-des-Rapides, Alexandre is deeply committed to his community and aspires to give back to the district where he grew up. His biggest dream is for Laval to become the greenest city in Quebec.<\/p>\n
In 2017, he relaunched the Forum jeunesse Laval, an initiative aimed at fostering civic engagement among young Laval residents; he served as chairman until spring 2019. He subsequently sat on the Board of Directors of Laval\u2019s Chambre de commerce et de l\u2019industrie, which earned him the \u201cCoup de c\u0153ur Bell de la Rel\u00e8ve d\u2019affaires\u201d grant in 2020 for his community involvement.<\/p>\n
Alexandre has also held key positions in various organizations, including on the watchdog committee for Laval\u2019s Cultural Development Plan, as secretary-treasurer of the Conseil r\u00e9gional de l\u2019environnement de Laval, and as the instigator and co-spokesperson of Laval en transition, a citizens\u2019 movement to build a resilient, carbon-neutral Laval community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2250,"template":"","class_list":["post-1862","elu","type-elu","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
